If anyone wants to have a spine down your arm, there is a procedure that is done by body modification / tattoo artists. Seems a bit painful. But here is what the end result looks like.

The person that got the arm spine had this to say..

Now this sounds really extreme and not very pleasent. Getting tissue to spread in order to insert the implant… OUCH.

The tearing was the longest part of the procedure. Steve first went in with a thin tool, just to create channels. Slowly, the width of the tools he uses increased, which caused the channels to expand until they merge together. Eventually, a tool resembling a golf club was inserted, to insure that all incisions resulted in proper tissue separation. Troublesome tissue was separated with a special V-shaped tool. The tool had dull sides, and a sharp edge on the inside, Some tissue is rather tightly stuck together, but sometimes, as was the case with the bottom half of my right arm spine, the elevators just spread the layers like a knife cutting through butter.

I had 8 Teflon hemispheres put into my right outer forearm, in a straight line from my elbow to my wrist. The incision was made halfway between the elbow and the wrist, and elevators were used to separate the skin all the way from the incision to the elbow, and up to my wrist. The incision was made like this so the elevator could reach all the way down to the ends of the arm, and still only use one incision. Going from the incision to the elbow was just like a knife going through warm butter. Separating from the incision to the wrist was a bit more problematic, but not too much of a deal. I think this is my best looking implant. It looks just like another spine, only it’s on my arm.

Sick piercings - Corset piercings, cosmetic pin pricking? Ouch, Bodmod sick painful looking shit. This looks a bit extreme for a procedure that is temporary. Corset piercing is something that is kinda popular in the body modification / extreme performance arts circles.

The way this works is that small pins, rings, bars or needles are inserted under the skin in a V type pattern to resemble an old-fashioned corset lace up. The pins are very shallow and not inserted deeply, other materials can be used that are inserted deeper and last longer. Most of these surface piercings do not last long because the body begins to reject the foreign material quickly causing redness and swelling. There are some newer materials available for body modification that are fairly flexible and are more permanent.

Not really surgery here, but looks way way sick shit. This is a video of some dude getting a huge design branded on his back. For anyone who wanted to know how its done, well check it out. Unlike branding a cow with hot iron, the design is painted on with what looks like a tiny torch.

Here is another video showing someone getting scarred in a tattoo parlor. The designs are painfully cut out of the flesh to create a permanent design.

Here is a video of someone getting the face permanently scarred in a body modification trend called scarification. Its kinda bloody and graphic as the stripes are cut out of the mans flesh on his cheek.

This is Lizard Man. He is a performer who surgically, with many tattoos and body modifications, including a split tongue had himself transformed into a human lizard.
