This is for a condition called “fistule in ano”, basically a hole between the inside and outside of your butt outside of the normal tract. The first procedure to fix this was a few hundred years back and I would imagine it may have done more harm than good considering that this is not a fatal condition in most cases… but it is very, very ugly, gross and sick.

Anyway, there are a few treatments for this, I have a video below of the newer one, butt(ha ha), I also have a good amount of images of this conditon… not for the faint of heart!

Whats scarier, is the way they tried to fix this in the early days of medicine, they had no cameras there so only drawings, but still looks like one very painful and embarassing surgery… with no pain killers back in those days, and check out the drawings of the way hard core surgical equipment that was used on these poor butts.
